Hello where ever you are!
My name is David Shaughnessy. I was born in California and grew up in the San Francisco area. With the exception of a few vacations and some business trips, I never left the East Bay within the short distance between San Pablo near the tank farm hills of the Standard Oil Richmond refinery and Oakland near Jack London Square. In the end of 1997 I moved to Oregon where I currently live.
People blog for a variety of reasons. I’d thought about it for many years, thinking I had something worth saying. A problem with blogging is often not just having something to say but getting over the emotional threashold of thinking someone might be interested in reading it. It seems I hadn’t had the strength to overcome the fear of speaking to an audience of zero.
This may be changing; or perhaps I just think there will be someone afterall.
